However, it's difficult to reach them without a car because of their locations on outskirts. Especially if you are a tourist, it'll be better to know how to arrive the outlet center you want to be. Otherwise you may pay for a taxi to the outlet center the same cost as a couple of Prada shoes...

Eventhough the huge outlet centers are so popular these days, we can find easily some small outlets or multi-brand discounted shops in most Italian cities. In any case, you should get information about the shops, such as opening hours, address and telephone number.
